NEWS: Nico(Slicknick) has decided not to continue tattooing at The Inkstitution.
When I was almost 23 years old I got my first ink. It was an octopussy on my right arm, which was put there by Lal Hardy from London (England). In the following years i started collecting from other artists 'all over the world'. Like: Bonkerke (Zaandam, Holland), Bugs (London, England), Chime (French Polinesia).
Then I met Errol in the beginning of 1997. He did a piece on me and I asked him if I could get an apprenticeship at him. He didn't had the time for it back then but told me he was planning to open a shop in Rotterdam. when he had opened the shop I dropped in and after a few hours of talking he decided to give me an apprenticeship.
The first year I walked around in the shop, I also had my other job at the printing house. So I made long days, which was worth it, looking at myself right now... ›››
